This 4th of July in Las Vegas promises to be the biggest and best ever! Last year, in 2017, over 320,000 people visited Las Vegas during the holiday.
Every 4th of July fireworks are shot off from casinos on the Strip, Fremont Street downtown, as well as several off-Strip casinos and in communities and parks across the Valley. There will be displays on opposite ends of the Strip on July 4th!
There will be a number of fireworks shows in Las Vegas that help celebrate America’s birthday.
These include fireworks shows on the Strip, downtown, in locals casinos off the strip, a fireworks display at Cashman field downtown (on July 3rd this year), and in the nearby suburbs of Henderson and Summerlin.
Mandalay Bay & Stratosphere 4th of July Fireworks 2018

Stratosphere Hotel & Casino – 9:15 PM July 4, 2018
On the south end of the Strip, Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino returns with a fireworks show, after a break in 2017.
This year, the resort’s elaborate and spacious swimming pool/beach area features a performance by the reggae-fusion group” Mystic Roots Band.
You can watch the fireworks from nearby hotels and from the Strip for free, entry into the concert and Mandalay Beach will cost you $32.14 (after fees) for one ticket, or $29.30 per ticket (after fees), if you buy two tickets.
The concert starts at 8 PM on July 4th, with the fireworks expected to begin at 9 PM.
The Stratosphere has a July 4th fireworks show
At the north end of the Strip, the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino will shoot off fireworks from their parking garage at 9:15 PM on the 4th.
Viewing Locations for July 4th Las Vegas Fireworks
You have a free viewing spot on the Strip itself, (especially right in front of Caesars Palace), several casino bars and lounges provide fantastic views of the fireworks for varying prices.
Most casinos have some sort of viewing parties and drink specials. In addition, right across the street from the Caesar Palace fireworks show, the Linq Promenade will have a red, white and blue LED light parade at 8:15 PM before the fireworks.
Downtown Fremont Street Las Vegas Fireworks for 2018
In addition to real fireworks, virtual fireworks are always part of the Fremont Street Experience light show during the Independence holiday weekend with a huge patriotic display shown on the giant screen above the crowds.
Wednesday July 4th also features a free concert by Billy Ray Cyrus on Fremont Street from 7:30 to 9 PM.
Other options are available for those who do not want to venture down to the Strip.
Red Rock Casino and Green Valley Ranch Fireworks
Red Rock Casino Resort Shoots off Fireworks
The Stations Casinos chain holds an annual July 4th fireworks show, and they continue that tradition in 2018.
Both the Green Valley Ranch Resort in Henderson, and Red Rock Casino Resort in Summerlin will have fireworks shows. These off-Strip casinos will shoot off fireworks on Wednesday July 4th, rather than the Saturday beforehand. The shows will begin at 9 PM on the 4th. The display will last 9 minutes at each casino. A third Stations Casinos fireworks show will be held at the Fiesta Rancho and Texas Station Casinos.
The fireworks here will be shot off at 9 PM, however the party starts at 4 PM with live bands, bounce houses for the kids, food vendors and other entertainment.
Lake Las Vegas is home to a July 4th fireworks display
Located about 19 miles east of the Strip, the Lake Las Vegas resort area also has an annual fireworks display. The fireworks will be shot off over the lake on Saturday July 7th at 9 PM. The show will be preceded by a performance by the Henderson Symphony Orchestra.
Each year the Las Vegas 51s baseball team, currently AAA affiliate of the New York Mets, hosts an after game fireworks display. This year the 51s play on Tuesday, July 3rd against the Salt Lake City Bees. The game starts at 7:05 p.m. and fireworks will proceed after the game.
In 2018, the city of Henderson will host their free fireworks show at 9 p.m. on Wednesday July 4th at Heritage Park. Entertainment and festivities began at 6 p.m.
